Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing communication strategies across various channels (social media, website, press releases, newsletters, etc.)
- Create, edit, and proofread content for press releases, blog posts, and marketing materials
- Help manage media relations, including drafting media pitches and handling press inquiries
- Monitor and report on media coverage and social media mentions
- Assist in coordinating internal communications, such as employee newsletters and announcements
- Support the planning and execution of events, webinars, and public speaking engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms
- Provide administrative support to the communications team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in communications, PR, or a related field (internships and volunteer experience are welcome)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with media monitoring tools is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
