Performand assist cardiologists in performing angiographic procedures, obtaining filmsof good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety topatients undergoing these procedures. By working on assignments and / or floatingthrough Rochester Regional Health facilities, you provide care where it’sneeded the most. In this role your primary responsibility is to provide on callcoverage outside of core hours (evenings / nights / weekends). If called, you willbe asked to report to the facility within 30 minutes to support patients in ourcommunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas of cardiology
- Studies are completed in reasonable time frame and meet department quality standards
- Patients are handled safely and courteously
- Room preparation and cleanup, assistance in procedures, and aseptic / sterile technique are performed to established standards
- Post-procedure duties including transfer, storage, and hard copy of angiographic studies, are completed promptly and to department standards
