What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Care/ Utility Technician position at Enhancity?
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Floor Care/ Utility Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in floor care, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Employees in this position will travel to different sites across Massachusetts using a company-provided vehicle to perform specialized floor care and general facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, auto scrubbers, and extractors.
- Ensure floors are kept in excellent condition and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Respond to service requests for special cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure safe and responsible operation of the vehicle, following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in floor care, janitorial work, or related field preferred. Pay rate will depend on experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
