Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data. You will work closely with various departments to implement security measures and respond to incidents, while continuously monitoring for potential threats.
Duties
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities within the organization’s systems.
- Implement and manage security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software deployment and virtualization practices.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and compliance standards such as DIACAP.
- Provide support for high availability systems and ensure business continuity plans are in place.
- Develop and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions to manage digital certificates.
- Work with APIs to enhance security protocols across applications.
- Assist in the deployment of PaaS solutions while ensuring adherence to security best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in information security or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Citrix.
- Knowledge of software deployment processes in secure environments.
- Experience with high availability systems is preferred.
- Understanding of PKI concepts and implementation is a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
