Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and drive improvements in our software architecture. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications, particularly focusing on mobile platforms such as Android.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify bugs and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize tools such as JUnit for automated testing to enhance efficiency in the testing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and provide feedback on business analysis.
- Document defects in Jira and track their resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews to understand architecture and provide input on potential quality issues early in the development process.
- Work with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins to streamline testing processes.
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, preferably within a mobile application environment.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices, particularly for Android applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for scripting automated tests is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with server-side testing concepts and tools is a plus.
- Experience with Jira for issue tracking and project management is essential.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on collaboration within teams.
