Senior Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business priorities.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is properly prioritized and refined for sprint planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and end-users to gather, document, and validate product requirements.
• Work closely with development, QA, and design teams to deliver product features in agile sprints.
• Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, providing direction and clarity on product goals.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as needed.
• Monitor product performance, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and security requirements where applicable.
• Mentor junior product owners and contribute to continuous improvement within the product management practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7 years of product management/product ownership experience in agile environments.
• Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in product management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Proven experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or PMI-ACP.
• Experience in healthcare, fintech, SaaS, or enterprise software domains.
• Familiarity with data analytics, UX best practices, and cloud-based platforms.
