Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of property management practices, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing property operations while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Handle data entry and maintain accurate files related to tenant information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with prospective tenants.
- Oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating with vendors and contractors as necessary.
- Implement effective upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain positive relationships.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and file management.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to property leasing and management.
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively manage lease agreements.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with LIHTC properties is a plus but not mandatory.
