What You’ll Do:
The Financial Analyst will be at the forefront of our financial operations, ensuring our revenue is recorded accurately and consistently. They will be working alongside a fantastic team of professionals, navigating complex transactions, and directly impacting the clarity and integrity of our financial statements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and GAAP by reviewing contracts, recording revenue entries, and maintaining accurate revenue schedules.
- Support month-end and year-end closing by preparing revenue calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Analyze and report revenue trends, perform variance analysis, and collaborate with finance teams for accurate financial reporting.
- Assess revenue implications of sales contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of revenue recognition policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review contracts, ensure revenue recognition compliance, and support accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to revenue-related inquiries.
- Identify and implement process improvements while strengthening internal controls for revenue recognition.
Who You Are:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with a CPA, CFA, or similar certification preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in revenue recognition, financial analysis, or accounting roles, with a strong preference for ASC 606 expertise.
- Requirements: Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles, with proficiency in financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting complex financial data, with familiarity with revenue recognition software as a plus.
