Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:
This position is for a 1st shift aerospace assembly technician. The candidate should be capable of performing detailed and complex assemblies, as well as pressure testing and oil flow testing. We are willing to train the right individual.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assemble studs, Heli-coils, pins, liners, and inserts.
- Light deburring of flow holes, re-tapping threads, and drilling wire holes using fixtures.
- Able to read operation sheets and blueprints.
- Able to maintain quality standards and accurately measure and document completed work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of experience aerospace assembly experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
- Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Interested in learning from peers, operations, and engineering to improve processes, quality, and efficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
