CNC Mill/Turn Machinist - Weekend Night Shift

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: 

This position is for a weekend night shift CNC Mill/Turn Machinist with a 35% shift differential. The candidate should be able to perform detailed machine setups and operations and run parts with little to no supervision.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ability to setup and run machines accurately, and efficiently
• Able to read operation sheets and blueprints
• Understanding of Mazak controls (willing to train the right candidate)
• Able to maintain quality standards and accurately measure completed work
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred
• 3 years of CNC machine operation
• G & M code understanding
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Interested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming team to improve operations
