We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bakery. As the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and developing training programs to enhance team performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of bakery operations, including production, staffing, and customer service.
- Train and develop staff in baking techniques, food handling procedures, and customer service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling costs to stay within budget.
- Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in all baked goods.
- Handle customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
