Position Summary:
The Facilities Manager oversees, manages and coordinates all maintenance-related activities involving the interior and exterior of eleven (11) mental health clinic buildings and administrative offices located throughout Los Angeles County. The Facilities Managers ensures the building, equipment and systems remain in operational repair, while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the Company Fleet or approximately ten (10) vehicles ensuring the regular maintenance and inspection of company vehicles for safety and/or mechanical problems to ensure good operating condition.
- Ensure materials for projects are used appropriately.
- Receive and review repair estimates, obtain bids as appropriate in accordance with Company policy, and approve projects with outside vendors, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pest control, landscaping and similar professions.
- Inspect all projects after completion, whether done by Enki staff or outside vendors.
- Consult and advise regarding location moves, including needed Tenant Improvements [TI] for new locations, and oversee and manage all construction needs, remodeling, painting and communication systems installation.
- Oversee and manage all construction needs, remodeling, painting and refinishing of all existing locations while ensuring that business is not disrupted.
- Perform other duties on an as-necessary basis, as directed by Vice-President of Administration.
- Complete interim review and annual evaluations on all staff supervised by date due.
- Be flexible to changes in workload to meet deadlines.
- Supervise drivers and ensure they conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner.
- Schedule annual audit-maintenance reviews with the California Highway Patrol.
- Keep informed of all position requirements and applicable polies and procedures.
- Provide correct information to other staff members, the public, and outside agency?s personnel.
- Attend trainings and meetings as requested.
- Attend company-wide quarterly safety committee meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures as applicable.
Minimum Education and Experience Preferred:
- High School diploma or equivelant preferred.
- Three (3) years driving experience (as Class B or above).
- Knowledge of DMV Class B Vehicle regulations
- Familiarity with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- One (1) year supervisory experience supervising non-exempt, hourly employees.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid California driver?s license, current automobile insurance and eligible to drive for the company preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform in a positive, courteous, flexible and adaptive manner.
- Able to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
- Computer literate and experienced with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be able clearly to communicate, both orally and in writing.
- Possess excellent organizational skills, including, but not limited to, the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- See well enough (with or without corrected vision) to read fine print, hand-written materials, and a computer screen.
- Speak and hear well enough (with or without assistive device) to converse in person and by telephone.
- Finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms, including ability to use a computer keyboard.
- Have the mobility (with or without assistive device) to stand, sit, crouch, and move from one work area to another.
- Have the strength to lift, carry or push office equipment and supplies used in normal job functions up to 25 lbs.
- Stamina to effectively perform work activities.
Pay Range: $70,000 ? $90,000/Year (Determined by Experience and Qualifications)
