Position Summary:
The Maintenance Worker Lead will assist with responding to and completing needed maintenance as requested by the management team and/or Project Manager. The Lead will lead the maintenance team to prioritize projects and to ensure that work is completed correctly, within budget and in a timely manner.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure team arrives at scheduled facility with all necessary tools and equipment to complete assignment/task(s) in a timely manner.
- Maintain and replace fluorescent light tubes on a regular and as needed schedule.
- Remove litter from parking lot, landscaped areas and assist with keeping walkways cleared in area outside of building as scheduled and/or as requested.
- Keep inside of building common areas in a clean, neat, safe and orderly manner.
- Wash windows inside and out on a monthly basis or as requested.
- Perform light maintenance duties such as: adjusting bulletin boards, repairing furniture, painting, basic plubming, basic electrical, moving furniture, assembling furniture, hanging picture frames or shelving, landscape maintenance, etc. on an on-going basis.
- Do weekly walk through of company locations, including all restrooms, roof access areas, basement, etc. to ensure proper working order.
- Report any safety concerns to Project Manager and Site Administrator.
- Be flexible in work schedule in order to meet deadlines.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures to meet federal, state, and Enki standards.
- Communicate effectively and be able to relate in a cooperative, productive and respectful manner with coworkers, management and the Corporate Office.
- Attend required training and meetings as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures as applicable.
Minimum Education and Experience Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Trade school certificate in maintenance or repair related field is a plus.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid California driver?s license, current automobile insurance, and eligibility to drive for the Company preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge and experience in the handling of hand, electrical and landscaping tools.
- Knowledge of the safe use and storage of cleaning and paint supplies.
- Ability to perform in a positive, courteous, flexible and adaptive manner.
- Able to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
- Computer literate and experienced with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Word and Outlook.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both orally and written.
- Have the ability to use good judgment in performance of normal maintenance and repair duties.
- Work independently, plan, organize and prioritize work for the maintenance team.
Physical Requirements:
- See well enough (with or without corrected vision) to read fine print, hand-written materials, and a computer screen.
- Speak and hear well enough (with or without assistive device) to converse in person and by telephone.
- Finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms, including ability to use a computer keyboard.
- Have the mobility (with or without assistive device) to stand, sit, crouch, and move from one work area to another.
- Have the strength to lift, carry or push office equipment and supplies used in normal job functions up to 20 lbs.
- Stamina to effectively perform work activities.
Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00/Hour (Determined by experience and qualifications)
