Job Overview
As a Solar Sales Representative at Enlightened Energy, you’ll play a key role in spreading the light of sustainable energy. You’ll market to and contact leads, deliver impactful sales presentations, close deals, and monitor projects helping homeowners save money and the planet with solar solutions. With extensive training provided, uncapped commissions, performance bonuses and incentives, this role offers financial freedom for you while empowering our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Outreach: Proactively contact leads (provided and self-generated) via phone, email, or in-person to introduce Enlightened Energy’s solar solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations (virtual or in-person) to educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy, cost savings, and environmental impact.
- Close Deals: Guide homeowners through the sales process, addressing questions and concerns, and closing deals with confidence and care.
- Educate and Connect: Educate customers on solar technology and connect them with our trusted network of EPCs, installers, and home improvement contractors for seamless installation and service.
- Collaborate and Grow: Participate in our community-driven culture—attend training sessions, share insights, and support your teammates as we all learn and grow together.
- Track Progress: Use our CRM and other platforms to manage leads, log interactions, and monitor your sales pipeline for maximum efficiency.

What We’re Looking For
- Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and helping yourself others achieve financial freedom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with homeowners and build trust.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to learn, grow, and succeed in sales.
- Comfortable contacting leads, delivering presentations, and closing deals (we’ll train you!).
- A team player who values community, collaboration, and supporting others.
- Access to a personal cell phone (laptop computer or tablet nice but not necessary) for CRM and design software use.
- Previous sales experience is a plus but not required—we provide all the training you need.
