What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Nurse - Full Time In Person position at Enlightened Recovery?
The Advanced Practice nurse provides medical oversight, training, and direct patient care.
- Implements medical protocols for Enlightened Recovery in consultation with Medical Director and Director of Nursing.
- Assesses and evaluates through completion of H&P with patients and records diagnostic impression within 24 hrs. of patient arrival/admission
- Signs off on lab results and medication orders in a timely manner.
- Reviews health medications on admissions and updates prescriptions as needed.
- Provides on-call services to 24-hour nursing staff.
- Conducts continual treatment plan management and evaluation in a timely manner.
- Knows and implements the company’s policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and provides input into treatment planning and care coordination
- Provides consultation to nursing staff regarding chronic medical disease, addiction and/or mental health concerns with patients.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate and effectively interacts with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, races, etc.; demonstrates the ability to successfully deliver culturally responsive services; and manages any cultural related issues of patients as it pertains to the intern position.
