What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Manager position at Enlightened Recovery?
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests/clients; managing the telephone systems; retrieving messages from voicemail and directing as needed; taking messages for staff; keeping reception area tidy; sorting and distributing post; and any other task(s) assigned.
- Creates reports in a timely fashion with attention to quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word in particular).
- Orders office and lab supplies.
- Acts as Safety Officer.
- Schedules New Hires Medical Clearance, fingerprinting appointment, and TB skin test reading.
- Communicates effectively with HR with any important information regarding new hires.
- Maintains a professional atmosphere both on the telephone and in the waiting area.
- Maintains a filing system for various company functions, including, but not limited to, copying and set-up.
- Assists with projects from other departments and acts as an assistant to Executive Director.
- Maintains the visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned.
- Maintains understanding of patient’s rights per the Mental Health Code, upholds patient’s rights, reports abuse of patients’ rights immediately and assists patients with filing complaints, as needed.
