The Front Desk Manager is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests/clients; managing the telephone systems; retrieving messages from voicemail and directing as needed; taking messages for staff; keeping reception area tidy; sorting and distributing post; and any other task(s) assigned.

  • Creates reports in a timely fashion with attention to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word in particular).
  • Orders office and lab supplies.
  • Acts as Safety Officer.
  • Schedules New Hires Medical Clearance, fingerprinting appointment, and TB skin test reading.
  • Communicates effectively with HR with any important information regarding new hires.
  • Maintains a professional atmosphere both on the telephone and in the waiting area.
  • Maintains a filing system for various company functions, including, but not limited to, copying and set-up.
  • Assists with projects from other departments and acts as an assistant to Executive Director.
  • Maintains the visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs.
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned.
  • Maintains understanding of patient’s rights per the Mental Health Code, upholds patient’s rights, reports abuse of patients’ rights immediately and assists patients with filing complaints, as needed.
