As a K4 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and spiritual formation of your students. You will:

Job Responsibilities
- Manage and educate students in a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment that fosters spiritual, academic, and personal growth.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that integrate biblical teachings and character development while aligning with the STREAM approach (Science, Technology, Reading/Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
- Incorporate interdisciplinary learning by connecting STREAM subjects to real-world applications, encouraging students to think critically and problem-solve from a biblical worldview.
- Utilize project-based learning to provide students with hands-on experiences that develop teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills.
- Assess student progress through diverse evaluation methods, including assignments, quizzes, tests, hands-on projects, and capstone activities.
- Establish clear classroom expectations and uphold a structured, respectful learning environment that supports student engagement and personal responsibility.
- Integrate literacy and communication skills across all disciplines to strengthen reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and verbal articulation.
- Maintain professional and supportive relationships with students while adhering to appropriate boundaries.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents, ensuring timely communication about academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to continuously refine and enhance curriculum delivery, integrating innovative teaching strategies aligned with STREAM principles.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Christian education and interdisciplinary learning.
- Encourage students to pursue their God-given talents by supporting individualized learning, career exploration, and preparation for higher education or future careers.
Qualifications
Education & Certification:
- Master's Degree in education - preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in education - required
- Teacher’s Certification - preferred
- ACSI Certification is required (may be obtained if hired)
Experience:
- At least five years of teaching experience
- Teaching experience at a Christian school is preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong technical proficiency, comfortable navigating digital tools and platforms
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy (45 WPM)
Communication & Relationship-Building:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build rapport with students
Work Ethic & Philosophy:
- Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for student success and a sincere desire to positively impact their spiritual and academic growth
- Understanding of and ability to explain the Christian philosophy or biblical basis for education
Salary & Hours
Compensation for this position depends on the candidate’s degree, experience, and certification(s), the approximate annual salary ranges from $34,000 - $40,000.
