Description

As a member of the Enlil Presales team, you will be responsible for providing the critical solution, technical, and industry knowledge to help support, generate, and develop new sales opportunities. You will demonstrate portfolio value to our customers, help secure revenue growth, and grow Enlil customer trust. The role of Presales Consultant is integral and highly visible within the team. They will be a key contributor to the growth of the business, providing outstanding support to our customers. The position requires close interaction with our internal product management, marketing, customer support and services teams.


Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience

  • Deliver story-driven demonstrations that convey the broad scope of Enlil products and technologies, including new and related emerging technologies (Cloud, IoT, SaaS, Analytics, AI and Machine Learning).
  • Contribute to the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that prove and confirm the value of our solutions.
  • Engage with prospects to understand specific needs/problems and lead/contribute to the development of appropriate technical solutions.
  • Conduct value consulting workshops and proofs-of-value with partners and customers.
  • Build customer relationships and business plans to create opportunities and improve product sales.
  • Enable sales growth by driving revenue by qualifying leads.
  • Support development of pipeline as the subject matter expert (SME) on major events and campaigns in the region.
  • Support customer queries on product selection and capabilities.
  • Work with partners, system integrators, and third-party vendors for complex solutions.
  • Collect customer feedback for product enhancement.
  • Influence the team through peer support and mentoring and by proposing novel approaches that will positively impact the way that the team operates.


Preferred Skills & Hands-On Experience

  • Experience working in a Presales or Sales role with an understanding of the sales process is a plus.
  • Prospects: Develop good working relationships with clients, while consistently providing the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Sales: Work with the Sales team in identifying opportunities, providing support at all levels of engagement, and ensuring throughout that those proposed solutions are feasible and in line with Enlil’s strategic objectives.
  • Technical: Work within a dynamic team and show flexibility in the use and development of personal and technical skills to maximize the team’s efficiency.


Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in solution selling, business development, and/or a customer value creation role.
  • Industry experience in QMS, Doc Control, Requirements Management, PLM, MES, ERP cloud solutions.
  • Experience working with regulations driving products in med device, biotech, pharma, food & beverages etc.
  • Strong information technology skills with deep software knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs and problems of prospective customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple and possibly competing commitments at the same time.
  • Excellent and proven customer-facing and presentation skills for complex technical solutions.
  • Ability to translate technical topics and solutions in simple language to a variety of audiences.
  • Enthusiasm and interest in technology and in sharing knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work with sales and development teams to develop and present demo applications.
  • Proficiency in English (required)
  • Ability to travel, up to 20% (Job is based in Enlil HQ, Campbell, CA)


Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $110,000 to $150,000 commission equity benefits.
