POSITION SUMMARY :
The Business Applications Analyst primary role is to have a complete working knowledge of assigned business applications, to include an understanding of the assigned department workflows for the associated application modules, upgrade and release process. The Business Applications Analyst will act as the primary support contact for the business applications and coordinate issues that arise in their area of responsibility. They will perform workflow analysis, data collection and report issues associated with the application software. The Business Applications Analyst will build in the application and as part of this process they will understand and analyze the end user and business operation needs. The Business Applications Analyst will review the application capabilities, coordinate updates and collect information regarding potential application enhancement needs. The Business Applications Analyst will serve as a liaison between application staff, end users, third parties and technical staff. The Business Applications Analyst will work directly with the CFO, CPO, Controller and their staff to optimize the business applications including custom build and configuration to meet the needs of the business. The Business Applications Analyst will work with end users by participating in training and troubleshooting issues and questions. The Business Applications Analyst will participate in the creation of test plans and testing of application changes and upgrades.
The Business Applications Analyst will be required to write support documentation following standard IS protocols and have working knowledge of HIPAA and other information security and privacy best practices. Knowledge of a variety of clinical and non-clinical applications is required.
Depending on the skill set of the Business Applications Analyst they may have a support focus and / or a project / workflow / implementation focus. In addition, the Business Applications Analyst may be required to participate in an on-call rotation as determined by their Manager.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
Minimum :
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's program OR has a Bachelor's degree in an IT or Business-related field AND three years' experience working directly with Information Technology and Process Improvement principles in a financial, business, or healthcare environment OR;
- Seven years' experience working directly with Information Technology and Process Improvement principles in a financial, business, or healthcare environment.
- One-year Infor CloudSuite Financials Version 11 experience OR Infor CloudSuite Financials Certification OR one-year Workday HCM experience or certification.

This person must be able to apply logic to the analysis, development and implementation of complex workflow and information system solutions and be able to successfully implement these solutions in assigned area. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential for working in a complex and varied work environment. Conflict management skills are necessary to resolve conflicts within and among departments and disciplines throughout the Organization and with physicians. Change management skills are necessary to lead implementations that will result in significant changes to work flow process for associates, physicians, and physicians' office staff throughout the organization. Knowledge of operations and regulatory requirements pertaining to assigned areas of responsibility. Proficient in use of project management, word processing, flowcharting, database, and electronic mail software applications or the ability to learn in a short period of time. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must comply with HIPAA Regulations and company confidentiality policies and procedures. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
