Key Responsibilities
The Kitchen Associate ensures that the food service areas of the store are clean, sanitary, and well-stocked with strict adherence to safe food handling procedures and food presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food orders with attention to detail and ensure customers' orders are correct.
- Maintain high standards of food service cleanliness and sanitation, food quality, and food and equipment safety.
- Ensure all food service areas are adequately stocked throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- Must have a strong work ethic and be able to cooperate and get along with co-workers.
- Ability to hear, understand, and respond to requests and to communicate information clearly using the English language.
- Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, reach, stack, and lift inventory weighing up to 40 pounds to stock, inventory, and sell merchandise and keep the store clean.
