Position Title: Fuel Maintenance Coordinator

Job Description:
The Fuel Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of retail fuel systems, including fuel dispensers, UST equipment, and POS systems. This position is responsible for dispatching and coordinating both in-house and third-party technicians, tracking maintenance requests, and ensuring the timely completion of work orders through our maintenance software.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dispatching Technicians: Effectively manage and dispatch in-house and third-party field technicians, ensuring that work orders are mapped and routed to minimize travel time between calls.
- Time Management & GPS Monitoring: Oversee technician schedules, utilizing GPS tracking to ensure technicians are managing their time efficiently and adhering to schedules.
- Call Tracking & Reporting: Continuously monitor and track open and in-progress service calls, ensuring timely resolution of all maintenance issues. Generate and review daily reports to confirm all maintenance tasks are being addressed promptly.
- Staff & Technician Support: Provide guidance and support to both store staff and the field fuel maintenance team, assisting in the education and execution of routine fueling site repairs using established procedures.
- Fueling Manager Assistance: Collaborate with the Fueling Manager to support daily activities and ensure smooth operations.
- Remote Support: Offer remote troubleshooting and support for technicians as necessary.
- Filter Maintenance: Ensure that routine maintenance procedures, such as the required biannual filter changes, are being completed as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience with Gilbarco, Wayne, and/or Veeder Root fuel systems is preferred.
- Work Hours: Ability to work 40 hours per week as required.
- Licenses & Driving Record: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Service Channel Maintenance Software.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- On-Call Requirements: Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and after-hours emergencies.
- Job Flexibility: Ability to perform all essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
