We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Outsourced Controller to join our team. Role Responsibilities:

Accounting Oversight and Review

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reports prepared by the accounting team.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Project Management

• Lead and manage financial projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and special client initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal team members and clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Ensure project milestones are met and maintain clear documentation throughout the project’s lifecycle in addition with managing time incurred against project budgets.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to clients for better financial decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Technology and Process Improvement

• Leverage accounting systems and technology to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend software or tools that align with client needs and business goals.

Client Communication and Support

• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and financial matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and exceptional service.
• Explain complex financial data in simple, understandable terms to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

Preferred Skills

• CPA License
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years either within industry, or within public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and reporting standards.
• Knowledgeable with payroll regulations for both Federal and State (Florida).

Technology Proficiency

• Advanced knowledge of accounting software.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online & Desktop.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.

Soft Skills

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple clients and deadlines.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative and approachable demeanor.
