The successful candidate will ensure software quality assurance by writing and executing manual and automated regression tests, supporting developers with feature testing and troubleshooting, and verifying system requirements. This role involves collaborating with SCRUM teams and supporting integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS systems.

Job Description
Ennoble First is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced software development environment. The successful candidate will ensure software quality assurance by writing and executing manual and automated regression tests, supporting developers with feature testing and troubleshooting, and verifying system requirements. This role involves collaborating with SCRUM teams and supporting integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective system test solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Define functional and technical specifications to ensure system integration and compatibility.
- Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures.
- Perform system of systems testing, ensuring that individual subsystems integrate correctly into larger environments.
- Support automated testing efforts with tools such as TestComplete to improve regression testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers and program teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize AGILE methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Agility, or Confluence for test case management and tracking.
- Develop detailed test reports and discrepancy reports, performing integration regression testing to validate incorporated software fixes.
- Coordinate and support subsystem and system-level testing activities with program leadership and external teams.
- 8 years of experience in Software Test Engineering.
- Strong expertise in regression and feature testing.
- Experience in system of systems testing and integration.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as TestComplete.
- Experience working in an AGILE software development organization with SCRUM methodologies.
- Proficiency in requirements verification and validation.
- Experience with test case management and tracking tools such as JIRA, Agility, or Confluence.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Experience supporting National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) systems such as Cedalion.
- Familiarity with AGILE project tracking tools.
