Interplex’s Etch-Line & Lamination Operation team in Attleboro, MA is currently searching for Machine Operators to join the team! The Machine Operator’s responsibilities include production line set-up, production control, production operation, light maintenance & inspection of etched products.
We are hiring for a 12-hour, rotational schedule- 6:00am – 6:00pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Select the correct coil for production and set up line. Follow and understand all written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Placing coils of material onto the etch line payoff and place empty reels onto the take up.
- Removing full reels of etched material from the take ups after etching operation weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Documenting and properly labelling all work.
- Must work with many different types of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. Must be familiar with machine and industrial workplace hazards and operate all equipment carefully and safely. Safety is a priority.
- Required to perform routine chemical testing and minor maintenance on chemical baths and equipment.
- Identify process problems and perform process troubleshooting as necessary.
- Complete all documentation required for production and QA as required.
- Complete inspection procedures for etched product. Includes setting up and monitoring of the vision system, working with gage pins, reading meters, and performing chemical testing.
- Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum one year of Manufacturing experience.
- Able to work independently and be highly motivated.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- The ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
- Basic knowledge of computer skills.
