What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toolmaker position at ENNOV Interplex?
Summary: This position is responsible for new tool build, tool repair, setting up and performing machining and grinding, fabrication, and modification of tooling. Incumbent will also provide technical support to the manufacturing team.

1. Modify and repair existing stamping tools as required. |
2. Monitor inventory levels of spare part components & tool room supplies. |
3. Work with Engineering & Manufacturing to analyze manufacturing / tooling problems, formulate solutions, and make appropriate repairs as needed. |
4. Present recommendations for tooling improvements to Engineering & the Operations Manager. |
5. Provide technical support & guidance to the manufacturing team as required. |
6. Responsible for new tool build and debug. |
7. Setup and operate all applicable shop and measuring equipment. |
8. Fabricate parts as needed. |
9. Coordinate with facility maintenance personnel for the timely completion of equipment repairs as needed. |
10. Accurately record work in production books as required. |
11. Follow all International Standards that apply to certification and QMS. |
12. Follow Company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Manual. |
13. Follow Company Safety rules and wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. |
14. Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance. |
15. Maintain excellent housekeeping. |
16. Perform duties outside of normal work hours as required. |
17. Other duties as assigned. |
Education /Skills /Qualifications: |
1. Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. |
2. Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety. |
3. Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period. |
4. Must have experience working with Progressive dies. |
5. Should have 5 to 7 years experience in a related Toolmaker position. Experience working with Bruderer presses in the manufacture of tight tolerance parts is preferred. |
6. Should be Cooperative with ability to work individually or in a team environment (Teamwork). |
7. Should have good Communication skills, both oral and written. |
8. Should have good Prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task |
9. Should have good Organizational skills |

11. Should have good Initiative with a drive for Continuous Improvement. |
12. Should have good Administrative & Record Keeping skills |
