Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, particularly those who may require assistance due to age, illness, or disability. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and monitor client health.
- Provide patient monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
- Offer direct support for clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Assist with hospice care for clients in need of end-of-life support.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Respect client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or as a caregiver is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs and location.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
