In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide development effort for projects like Datamart’s, Client Analytics.
- Administrate Snowflake accounts and support Snowflake control plane to enable Snowflake tenants workloads.
- Work in an Agile methodology to provide expertise and share the best software development practices with the team.
- Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers and cross functional teams to provide solutions and solve design and architectural problems.
- Ability to do quick proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features.
Must haves:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Expertise on Snowflake is a must and should be able to administrate Snowflake DB and should know Snowflake Information metadata schemas and Snowflake internals.
- CI/CD DevOps and work experience with Gitlab and automation.
- Integrate snowflake with different BI tools.
- SQL experience.
- Distributed cloud services (preferably Azure).
- Distributed data loading (Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark).
- Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Vertica, and Hazelcast.
- Must be well versed with authentication and authorization in cloud services.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
