Education Required
Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience Required
Five years progressive experience in an industrial environment (preferably auto industry) with a history of skills in electrical schematics or ladder logic, project planning and costing, machine repair and equipment or process layouts; work and product flow planning; sequencing; PLC controls. Robotic experience preferred. Management or supervisory experience required.
Basic Purpose Of Position
Lead and support the Maintenance Dept. on the off shifts to efficiently meet all plant KPI objectives through use of The EPIQ Way.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Assure an overall strategy/plan for the Maintenance department aligned to the plant KPI requirements.
- Keep pace with evolutionary advances in state-of-the-art equipment and processes; recommend capital expenditures to upgrade equipment and processes.
- Develop and administer a viable Lockout/Tagout safety program and assure compliance with all plant safety programs and regulations.
- Initiate equipment standard processes targeting improvements for short term (back up), repair and long term uptime improvements.
- Oversee an efficient and effective program to manage the spare parts inventory, preventative maintenance and life cycle replacement/upgrades for all plant equipment.
- Provide technical leadership for the local plant needs
- Support plant/maintenance operations as required 24/7.
- Other duties as assigned.
- MRP experience in maintaining all necessary records for maintenance requirements.
- Experience in project management preferred.
- Attention to detail
- Statistical Process Control skills preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency with MS Office products required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.
- Focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
