Primary Processes
Purpose : This position will provide direct floor supervision to the production process. Support the company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Introduce change points that may be necessary to meet these KPIs. Stabilize the production unit within these established change points. Coach and develop our Production Team Members / Leaders by fostering The EPIQ Way.
Support the Production Manager to achieve the targets and goals of the business unit.Supervise team members and team leaders as direct reports, developing all through problem solving and The EPIQ Way. Assist in hiring, coaching and recommendations for promotion and / or separation.Ensuring the basics – Workplace policy and rules are followed, be visible and involved with team members on the shop floor.Teaching fundamental concepts of The EPIQ Way.Secure pre-shift conditions and maintain production conditions and ensure post shift conditions are met.5S development through EMDS – (EPIQ Management Development Systems).Administer the vacation and overtime process and payroll for direct reports.Assess team member skill levels and coach to improve those skills.Maintain records, documentation, and results against established goals in all key performance areas.Assist with maintaining a safe work environment for all EnovaPremier team members.Assist in continuous improvement activities within the facility.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Analytical Ability :
Strong decision making ability.
Communication Ability :
Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, managing confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information.
Computer Skills :
Proficiency with MS Office products required.
Education and Competencies :
Associate’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Management Experience :
3 years of experience in a supervisory position that has provided exposure to direct line supervision in an industrial environment and direct customer contact.
Physical Demands :
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Qualifications :
