GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:
Provides strategic support for the operations team by making decisions based on data and having the ability to understand our manufacturing systems and ERP systems to implement changes to reach our business objectives. Responsible for procurement of materials through production steps to shipment of finished goods by actively planning for raw materials/semi-finished/finished goods, controlling inventory, and coordination with Logistics and Purchasing. Works with operations team to achieve supply chain and operational objectives by removing obstacles and implementing corrective actions that improve the process. Has high functioning knowledge of majority of Product Lines on campus and is capable of working across departments.

Key metrics include On Time Delivery, Labor Efficiency, Lead Time, Average Days Late

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $60,500 - $99,000 annually. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus, gainshare, and/or equity may be eligible for this position. - Production Planning: Set production plans using ERP systems, analyze lead time and delivery performance, and optimize equipment OEE.
- Inventory Management: Analyze performance against KPIs, lead annual physical inventory audits, and implement corrective actions based on data.
- ERP and Data Management: Take ownership of information and data that drive lead times, identify trends through data analysis, and resolve root causes.
- Education: Associate's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-7 years of manufacturing experience preferred; APICS Certification (CPIM) is a plus.
- Skills: Strong collaboration skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency in using spreadsheets and ERP software.

- Inventory Management – Analyzes performance against KPI’s in inventory turns and cost. Leads annual physical inventory audit. Implements corrective actions based on data from physical inventory audit and cycle count results, excess and obsolete reports, on-hand inventory value and TTM DSI reports, and working capital models for proper stocking levels. Works with production team to develop solutions and implement them in challenging circumstances. Analyzes lead time, delivery performance, and material and purchase price variances to identify waste and uses them to drive continuous improvement opportunities. Is able and willing to train Planner I colleagues in these concepts.
- ERP and Data Management – Advanced ERP system knowledge and functionality to understand how to affect change. Takes ownership of information and data that drives lead times to both customers on finished goods and vendors for goods and services. Willingness to learn different types of transactions, and the impacts of them within the system and the financial statement, and teach operators on when and how to use them. Identifies trends through data analysis using reporting tools and works with cross-functional colleagues to understand and resolve root causes. Ongoing focus on actively ensuring integrity of inventory data and job status and solves recurring issues. Works with Industrial Engineering group to organize equipment, labor, and materials data that will improve shop floor visibility and flow.
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
