Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Planning and Optimization Specialist to join our team at Enpro Industries. As an integral member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support by making data-driven decisions and understanding manufacturing systems to implement changes that drive business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and managing min/max planning to set appropriate parameters and actively maintaining lead-times in coordination with the commercial team.
- Partnering with Supply Chain and Logistics functions to understand material availability and the most efficient way of bringing them on site.
- Using data from ERP reports, PowerBI, and KPIs to develop, lead, and participate in Continuous Improvement events to implement Kanban, visual management systems, and 5S.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing, pricing, and lead-time challenges on components and prioritize what to work on. Additionally, you will create a collaborative and inclusive environment with the core values of Safety, Excellence, and Respect as a foundation.
