GENERAL SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for managing very complex and strategic projects. The Project Manager will
be the primary interface with the client-focused on ensuring contractual obligations are met on time and within
budget while achieving customer satisfaction. This position will also be essential in providing input to the sales
organization on project quotations to eliminate risks in execution.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and execute project work plans, revising as needed, to meet changing client needs and requirements.
Work with sales organizations on strategic / mega project opportunities to identify risks in execution. Work as a team lead to mentor co-workers providing input to development plans. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope. Identify, manage, and control project risks to minimize our exposure while meeting client needs. Identify business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to the project. Effectively communicate and negotiate change orders for margin enhancement. Accountable for revenue recognition, timely and accurate invoicing, and eliminating disputes / past dues. Manage and analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization. Report progress on projects to all project stakeholders, internal and external. Possess a thorough understanding of our capabilities. Oversee interaction with key suppliers and the ordering of materials for the project. Ensures a clear understanding of the project contractual requirements by the project team. Identify and suggest improvements to processes and procedures. Ensure QHSE standards are fulfilled during project execution. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a similar context Proven Project Management skills Ability to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment Ability to interface with customers and management at various levels Strong skills in developing customer relationships Highly analytical / Clear thinker Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency High level of integrity and work ethic Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Projects, Outlook Knowledge of MRP system (NAV) WORKING CONDITIONS Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals. Noise from ringing telephone and office equipment cannot be avoided. PHYSICAL DEMAND Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
