Caregiver - Weekly/Daily Pay

The Enriched Hearts Home Care team is actively hiring dependable and professional in-home caregivers, and we have immediate openings for full and part-time positions, on-call, and floating shifts, with a range of flexible hours. We offer competitive pay ranging from $17 to $23 per hour, with guaranteed annual pay increases and opportunities for career growth. In addition to competitive wages, we offer employee incentives and rewards for great customer service.

We need both male and female caregivers who are ready to embrace flexibility and work between 4-12-hour shifts as needed. If you're available on weekends, that's even better because we've got some bonus pay waiting for you.

The ideal candidate is reliable, caring, compassionate and sincerely interested in improving the life of those we serve. Individuals should have experience as a caregiver, strong communication skills, problem solving ability and organizational skills. If you have experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare, we’d love for you to join our team.

Requirements

• California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration - including TB Clearance & pass LiveScan

• Pre-employment drug screening and background check

• Valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance & car registration

• Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds

• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach.

• Ability to work weekends

• Great communication skills

• Speak, read, and write in English

• Valid CPR certification

• Complete mandatory onboarding training courses upon being hired

• Age requirement - 18

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and light housekeeping.

• Help with mobility, such as getting in and out of bed or a wheelchair.

• Provide medication reminders that the client self-administers.

• Prepare meals and provide nutritional support.

• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishwashing.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Provide transportation to appointments and other activities as needed.

• Assisting clients with Alzheimer's and Dementia

• Keep an accurate record of the services provided and promptly report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.

• Follow care plans and instructions.
