Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massachusetts EEC Certified Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires an individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood education. You must be willing to act as a team player and be responsible.
Duties
The float teacher will be responsible for providing coverage to classrooms to support teacher breaks. In addition, the teacher may act as a substitute when the regular classroom teacher is out.
Duties may include:
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes childhood development through play-based learning.
- Classroom coverage for teacher breaks.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Experience
- MA EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool certification.
- Experience working in early childhood education setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development techniques tailored for young learners.
