Summary: The Receptionist & HR Assistant is responsible for managing front desk operations and supporting administrative and human resources functions at Enru's Bolingbrook facility. This includes welcoming and checking in visitors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements, and assisting with confidential HR administrative duties. This role serves as a key point of contact for both internal employees and external visitors, supporting a safe, organized, and people-focused workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Check in visitors and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain and track safety training logs and certificates of insurance.
  • Verify that all visitors and employees are wearing the required PPE.
  • Schedule candidate interviews and conduct initial phone screens.
  • Perform confidential administrative HR tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Support recruiting efforts by coordinating candidate communications, interview logistics, and onboarding preparation.
  • Maintain HR-related databases and spreadsheets (e.g., training records, compliance checklists).
  • Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
  • Order office and event supplies, including catering for meetings or company events.
  • Serve as a point of contact for cafeteria maintenance and other vendor coordination.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with ongoing administrative tasks and scheduling needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR and employee information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general office software.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Prior experience in HR administration, recruiting coordination, or office management preferred.

IL Comp Info: $50,000 - $65,000 USD
