Technical Writer - Active TS / SCI with CI PolyJoint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia, United States Our work depends on a Technical Writer joining our team to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, M.D. As a Technical Writer supporting the Government, you will be trusted with providing technical writing support to document all program deliverables, functions, processes, and accreditation efforts.
Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.In this role, a typical day may include : Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, and instructions.Explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language.Work with customers to translate their functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.Ensure documentation adheres to established style guides, standards, and templates, and maintain a consistent writing style across various materials.Contribute to the development and maintenance of a document repository and knowledge management system to facilitate easy access and retrieval of technical documentation.Support project managers in tracking documentation deliverables, milestones, and deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all documentation tasks.RequirementsBachelors, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Minimum 10 years of technical writing assurance experience.Proven ability to distill complex information into clear, concise text.Excellent writing and grammar skills and ability to work independently and deliver accurate content under deadline pressure.Experience designing and delivering developer-oriented documentation as well as working directly with development teams.Experienced using multiple tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles.Possess a thorough understanding of software development (SDLC), IC ITE, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other key IT terminology.Five years in a technical or lead writing role.Ability to multi-task and shift with changing priorities and projects.8570 IAT II (CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND or SSCP)Active TS / SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.Why ENS?Free Platinum-Level Medical / Dental / Vision coverage, 100% paid for by ENS401k Contribution from Day 1Long & Short Term Disability InsuranceGroup Term Life InsuranceTuition, Certification & Professional Development Assistance
