EnSafe is accepting applications for a Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer to join our fast-growing Pensacola, FL office.

Our team has managed hundreds of projects at military bases, Superfund sites, airports, and other public and private locations across the country.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an entry level Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Engineer who is eager to start a career in the environmental field. The candidate must be a problem-solver, eager to learn and apply technical expertise in field sampling and reporting. The ideal candidate will contribute to various aspects (planning, field work, and reporting) of site investigations under the mentorship of project managers, subject matter experts, and senior staff.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Assist in the development of Sampling Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and project planning.
• Collaborate with team members to implement and execute work plans effectively.
• Project coordination and planning
• Conduct site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, biota, indoor air, soil gas, and drinking water).
• Perform oversight of subcontractors.
• Provide data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
• Assist with preparing technical reports.
Preferred:
• Geologist-in-Training or Engineer-in-Training certification.
Qualifications:
• BS in Geology, or Engineering, Environmental Scientist, or a related environmental science field.
• 0 to 5 years of environmental field experience
• Strong desire to become a registered Professional Geologist/Engineer.
• Communication, written and verbal, is critical to success.
• Candidate must be willing to acquire a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (company sponsored) within the first 30 days of employment.
• The ability to travel occasionally overnight.
