EnSafe is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety (H&S) Professional to join our team. This role offers flexibility in location, with opportunities to work from our offices in Nashville or Knoxville, TN—or remotely in the Southeast for the right fit.

A H&S Professional who will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, managing risks, and fostering a safe and healthy environment for our clients. What You Will Be Doing:
• Consult with clients from primarily utilities, pipe construction, electrical generation, transmission, and distribution, and water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Perform regulatory OSHA compliance audits and gap assessments.
• Conduct H&S risk assessments including confined space, lockout-tagout, job safety analysis, etc.
• Identify, document, and recommend resolutions for hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions, such as safe work practices of switching and troubleshooting distribution systems, valves, breakers, and pipes.
• Prepare supporting documentation for all safety inspections, highlighting dangerous areas or procedures and recommending corrective procedures.
• Prepare proposals, manage projects, coordinate staff, prepare and review technical reports.
• Manage client relationships.
• Expected travel may be up to 50%, primarily in the Southeastern United States
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in safety or related discipline
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP)
Required Qualifications:
• Degree: B.S. degree in an industrial hygiene, environmental, safety, engineering, or related discipline
• 5-10 years’ H&S experience. H&S consulting experience is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry health and safety standards (Process Safety Management experience is a big plus)
• Technical background in utilities operational maintenance, wastewater treatment plants, pipe construction, electrical systems, valves, breakers in facilities.
• Ability to work in mechanically and electrically oriented situations.
• Be highly organized and able to work independently.
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
