Full Charge Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper’s core duties include overseeing and managing EnSave’s finances, fielding inbound calls from clients and customers, and directing them to the appropriate staff. This position requires prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and works closely with program management team members.
Finance Duties
- Manage EnSave’s financial accounting, including:
- Financial Statements – Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- Program Budget Trackers
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Client invoicing
- Collections
- Process biweekly payroll using an external payroll company and maintain all payroll records
- Work with EnSave’s external tax/accountant as appropriate
- Prepare Financial Reports for the owner of EnSave by the 15th of each month
- Meet with the COO monthly to review program budget trackers
Human Resources Duties
- Assist with the management of employee benefits administration such as health insurance, dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, and SIMPLE IRAs
- Implement all changes to employee deductions
- Update staff contact information in the EnSave tracking system
- Other Administrative Duties
- Sort and distribute mail
- Supervise the ordering of office supplies
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Proficient with QuickBooks online
- Ability to communicate and work with a third-party payroll provider
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for one’s work
- Excellent time management, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
Salary : $26 - $28
