As a Water Resources Engineer, you will:
- Plan, design, and manage water distribution and sewer collection projects
- Design pump stations, force mains, and other water resource tasks
- Work on municipal water and wastewater treatment plants
- Interact frequently with clients, public entities, and permitting agencies
Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering principles to water distribution, sewer collection, pump station design, and other water resource tasks based on years of experience
- Plan, permit, design, and oversee construction of municipal water and wastewater treatment plants
- Collaborate with project engineers to create reports, studies, specifications, and construction documents
- Meet with clients to understand needs, propose solutions, and develop proposals
- Have knowledge of funding sources for municipal projects
- Supervise and seal designs created by other engineers
- Manage projects from conceptualization to construction
- Understand and align with client’s long-term goals
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and other staff
