What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voice and Piano Teacher - Montclair, NJ position at Ensemble Music Schools?
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice and piano instructor to teach part-time at The Modern Music Academy, in Caldwell, New Jersey. We are looking for instructors who will teach IN PERSON. Preference will be given to instructors with Thursday and Saturday afternoon availability, but applicants not available on these days are still encouraged to apply.
Experience teaching younger students will be beneficial!
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-33 / hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.
