Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and professional General Manager to help administer our dance school, Production Company Dance & Cheer, in Longmont, CO. The General Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations. Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership to ensure the overall success of the school
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Responding to phone calls and emails from students and families regarding enrollment, scheduling, and other requests for information
- Hiring, scheduling, and interfacing with teachers to help them manage their student schedules
- Helping to manage our website, newsletters, and social media presence to represent the school to our local community
- Ensuring clear communication channels with teachers, students, and parents.
- Assisting payroll team in verifying attendance and approving time-off requests
- Helping to organize and produce student performance opportunities and other community events
- Assuring all facilities are properly stocked, and teachers are fully supported with any necessary equipment/materials
- General administrative tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a manager or similar leadership role
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Background in dance or related fields (not mandatory, but a plus)
The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in dance and dance education is an asset. The ability to foster a positive culture for staff and students is a must.
