Overview: Design/Project Architect responsible for the design, deliverables (drawings and specifications) and the construction administration of the project using Revit in the design of commercial buildings and some residential projects under the supervision of a Registered Architect.

Job Description: A professional minded individual involved in the design and production of a wide variety of projects from SD to CD and more. The select individual will have good working knowledge of IBC as well as other codes and standards applicable for states across the southeast. Must be capable of independent design and leading others through a servant mentality of “how can I help” under the direction of the Principal. Capable of meeting or exceeding all given deadlines and helping a team to achieve this goal. Software to be used include largely Revit, Bluebeam and Morpholino. Must be comfortable and confident with hand drawings/sketches of both elevations and floor plans at the SD stage of any project. Possesses strong professional communication skills, knowing when to listen and when to speak. Capable of meeting and communication with clients on all phases of a project. Responsibility level will be adjusted based on individuals experience and proficiency.
Remote Work Description: ensembleD is Athens, Georgia’s only fully remote A/E firm. It is our goal to provide our employees with a better work-life balance in the very fast passed industry of A/E building design. Working between the hours of 8am to 6pm employees will be expected to collaborate over the platform “Microsoft Teams” where plans will be discussed, screen sharing will be expected and on camera video calls without blurred backgrounds required daily. An individual will be available via email, text, phone call or “Teams” during standard working hours. Our office will serve, as it does for all our employees, as a “check in, check out” hub, as well as a space for trainings, collaborative teamwork, and client meetings. Employee’s home office is required to be located within a maximum of 1.5Hr drive from Athens, Ga. and not outside of the state.

Organization, attention to details, as well as critical thinking and speed are important. Qualification:
- 4 years of experience in Architecture
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required (Master's is a plus)
- 4 years of Revit experience required
- AutoCAD experience required
- Photoshop / Illustrator experience a plus
- Rendering experience a plus
- Remote work experience is a plus
- Driver’s license required
- US work authorization required
- Portfolio, Cover letter and references are required
