We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at ENSER Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a wide variety of machine tools, including lathes and milling machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate lathe and milling machines to produce high-quality parts and assemblies
- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and maintenance
- Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping
- Select appropriate machine settings for a given task
- Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
- Maintain inventory of completed products
- Check output for quality assurance and document or discard defects
- Perform machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
- Working knowledge of safety protocols
- Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
- 3-5 years minimum experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
