We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist/Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the Mechanical Department at our Cinnaminson, NJ office. This role involves working on various mechanical machines and devices, as well as designing and developing tooling and fixtures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, instructions, and samples to ensure accurate production, taking precise measurements for cutting or shaping, and monitoring production to adjust settings as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical systems and devices
- Design and develop tooling and fixtures
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain inventory of completed products
- Monitor production and make adjustments as necessary
- Check output for quality assurance and document defects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machinist/machine shop work
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
