Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining various IT systems and applications, including Active Directory, Datto backup and recovery, Linux OS, SQL Database, and Windows Server OS. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, updates, and builds of these systems, as well as providing support and management- including supporting level 2 infrastructure escalations. Additionally, the IT Infrastructure Engineer will lead projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. This position offers flexible work options, allowing for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Active Directory Management: Administer and manage Active Directory services, including user account management, group policies, and security settings.
System Updates and Builds: Perform regular updates and builds for various IT systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
Datto Backup and Recovery: Manage and maintain Datto backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
Linux OS Administration: Administer and support Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
SQL Database Management: Manage SQL databases, including installation, configuration, backup, and recovery.
Windows Server OS Administration: Administer and support Windows Server operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Project Leadership: Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior IT team members, providing training and support to foster their professional growth.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of IT strategies and initiatives to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related experience.
Proven experience in managing and maintaining IT systems and applications.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Datto backup and recovery, Linux OS, SQL Database, and Windows Server OS.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage projects and mentor team members.
Ability to work remotely and manage tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
