About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Ensinger Inc. as a dynamic systems specialist.
As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions that control complex systems. Your expertise in automation and inter-connecting manufacturing equipment will be crucial in advancing our operations towards Industry 4.0.
The successful candidate will have experience with PLC programming, advanced motor control solutions, and SCADA systems. A strong understanding of process control issues and the ability to develop effective control solutions will also be essential.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Partner with Quality, Process Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Analyze process control issues and recommend improvements.
- Develop project requirements and prepare specifications.
- Maintain configuration control of current PLC source code.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage building automation systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Three years of applicable experience in manufacturing operations.
- Advanced PLC and HMI programming experience.
- Knowledge of networked based communications protocols.
- Experience with VFD and Servo motor drive platforms.
