Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

Job Description

The Automation Systems Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that control dynamic systems. This includes promoting safe work practices, partnering with cross-functional teams, analyzing process control issues, and recommending changes to equipment for improvements in performance and cost reduction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for non-compliance.
• Work closely with Quality, Process Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure equipment meets expectations and produces desired outcomes.
• Develop and implement solutions that control dynamic systems, advancing operations towards Industry 4.0.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain configuration control of current PLC source code.
• Support training initiatives on new installations and develop standard operating procedures.
• Manage building automation systems, improving facility efficiencies and control.
• Maintain maintenance databases to document all assets with complete PM programs.
