As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and monitor cash flow to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain general ledger entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure proper accounting for transactions.
- Help with payroll processing and related reporting tasks.
- Review and verify transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work closely with senior accountants and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping practices, including familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
- Eligible for sponsorship (if applicable).
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or part-time work experience in accounting or bookkeeping (a plus but not required).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills a plus.
Salary Range:
$40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
