Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security/stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective conflict management skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies. The Security/stocker will be responsible for monitoring premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Stock shelves with grocery items, produce, and packages in an organized manner.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports as required for law enforcement or management review.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are upheld.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict resolution techniques while maintaining professionalism.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency response procedures is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
